But as I was trying to put it together I did come across some files name characters and some files named worlds I believe my whole problem is is that it shows that the save games are there and that there's at least some apps for each one of the gamertags
but when I start to rarea up it doesn't show that there's any maps to be found I've looked all over the internet is fast as I can and I need to know where exactly I put these files back to or how I do go about doing that and will that work because they scored
a few hours of family man time trying to play that game and he's very upset that he is ruined everybody's good time so I would just like to know if they going to certain file folder and I need to create something or how I can go about installing the game and
taking these files that I have that show that they're saved game and I believe that there's a maps or more worlds that all the boys created but I'm not sure where they go because they don't show up as an option to pick and it keeps just telling us all to create
a new character and which we really rather not do this if you're doing really well as a group please please help me I'm sure there's a way they're both on there they're just not seeing each other to tell him that you know they go together I wouldn't mind having
incomplete file tree as to if I need a file folder named characters and I put all the characters in there and then I have to match up the characters with the maps and all that stuff so any advice would be wonderful thank you very much

    :)

  2. saved data on USB won't transfer back to xbox360.

I saved my profile and Terraria game data from hard drive onto a USB today, some of it has transferred back whilst some won't move back from the USB, so I have lost all of my Terraria.

Can anyone suggest how I might be able to retrieve downloaded data back to my hard drive? Thanks!

  3. Moved saved game content from usb to hard drive - saved game is lost!

I am posting because my son is literally bawling. He decided to move some saved game info for Terraria from his USB to the XBOX 360 hard drive to make room on the usb for something he was trying to download. When he went to try and access his saved game
from the hard drive, it wouldn't come up. He tried the USB, though it actually appears the data is all still there (same GB like it didn't delete anything on the USB) it won't access his saved game from there either. So we located the saved game which was
moved to the hard drive through the console features and attempted to move it back to the USB...like maybe it is still searching for it from the old path...still won't come up. He says two years of Terraria gaming is gone and he is mourning it like it is
the end of the world. Any suggestions on how to get his saved gaming back?

Sorry to hear you're having issues. I think the big question here would be why did your son move the game to the USB stick and what did he do after that?

If it tried loading it onto a PC then I believe that the files will be permanently gone as when you load them to a PC the computer tries to change them to a format that it can read. This makes them unreadable by the Xbox.

If he did not do this then do not fret. Simply pop the USB back into the console and move all the files back to the Xbox. Be sure to use the gamertag that originally created the saves as that is the only way they can be moved.

Hopefully you'll be able rectify this issue otherwise your son will need to start all over again from the beginning.

Transferring info from old Xbox to new one

A USB drive will be a hassle though since you'd need another Xbox 360 that allows the hard drive, then take the files you want and move them onto the USB then move them onto the Slim. Your best best as Lestat said, would be those transfer cables. It's really
up to you how much money and etc you're willing to save.

Can you play arcade games from a disc

And like many of us have said, you cannot put the games you have already downloaded onto a disc. You can download them ont oa USB drive and then move your account onto it or just recover your account onto it at another time. See my post above to see more
    about USBs and Xbox 360.

Hardrive shows data but won't load

Hi there, unfortunately this happens and it does sound like your hard drive has corrupted.

You can try troubleshooting using the tool here:
    support.xbox.com/.../hard-drive

Or as you can still see the data, have you tried moving some of the save files onto a USB? Because you will most likely have to format to get it working again, at least you might be able to save some of your save data:
