I recently got a new HD monitor for my birthday but it does not have built in speakers/sound card. The only way to connect the Xbox to the monitor is with a HDMI switch, but since there is no internal speakers in the monitor, no sound comes out. I
have discovered that the only way to get audio from the Xbox is to use my Turtle Beach A/V adapter. But when I change the source to the PC with the switch, the Xbox restarts because it lost the HDMI signal, so it restarts to switch to the av signal. It works
fine with the HDMI only because the A/V adapter is not plugged in at the same time. Suggestions?

    :)

How could I split the audio from an HDMI cable so that I have working audio when gaming?

Basically I have a new acer monitor that has tow HDMI inputs and one D-SUB. The problem being the monitor does not have any speakers built in. There for when I use the HDMI cable to use the monitor for gaming off my XBOX 360 I get no audio. My question being,
how could I sue this acer monitor but still get audio for my game?

    Game intro is lagging.

Okay, so I play Assassin's Creed 3 and Black Ops. Both of them is lagging when I start the game, in the intro.

I play it on my TV, with HDMI, than I tried with my monitor with DVI, and it is still lagging.

However, on my friend's HDMI monitor, it isn't lagging. Where is the problem? Is there a problem with the Xbox, or the TV, or my monitor?

    I have Xbox 360 Elite, Jasper v2.

    Thanks
