Xbox 360 modified problem

Any discussion or attempts to modify your console is against the ToU and CoC of the Live service and could result in the console and/or gamertag being permanently banned from Live. As such, no one here can help with your problem.

Legality is generally only an issue when console modifications involve software piracy.

Other than that, modifying a console will definitely void the warranty and potentially ban it from Xbox Live, depending on the extent of modifications. It would nonetheless violate Microsoft's terms of service.

Hi there. Since the Xbox 360 console has already been modified, it can no longer be "un-modified" or rectified to it's original valid state officially. Since modifying an Xbox 360 is in violation of the Xbox LIVE Terms of Use and Code of Conduct, you are
not allowed to use Xbox LIVE services on the modified console, and may face consequences such as an account or console ban if you attempt to use any online features. You can either keep the console offline, forfeiting any online software updates or online
features, or you can get an un-modified console. I suggest that you attempt returning the console to the person that you bought it from or sell it to someone else (stating that it is modified), and buy a new or used (un-modified) Xbox 360 console.

Yes that's why it's not a good idea to modify the xbox 360 and enter live

Opening the console will void the warranty and Microsoft will not touch it.



It's also against the terms of use so if you do plan on playing on Live you are putting yourself at risk for a console ban.

or accessible through the Service, or any hardware or software associated with the Service or with an original Xbox or Xbox 360 console is strictly prohibited and may result in cancellation of your account and/or your ability to access the Service, and the
pursuit of other legal remedies by Microsoft. Microsoft may take any legal action it deems appropriate against users who violate Microsoft's systems or network security, this contract or any additional terms incorporated or referenced in this contract, and
such users may also incur criminal or civil liability.

Microsoft reserves complete and sole discretion with respect to the operation of the Service. Microsoft may, among other things: (a) restrict or limit access to the Service; (b) retrieve information from the Authorized Device and any connected peripheral
device used to log onto the Service as necessary to operate and protect the security of the Service, and to enforce this contract; and (c) upgrade, modify, withdraw, suspend, or discontinue any functionality or feature of the Service, any game or other content
available or accessible through the Service, or any hardware or software associated with the Service or with an Authorized Device, from time to time without notice, expressly including by the automatic download of related software directly to your Authorized
Device, including software that prevents you from accessing the Service, playing pirated games, or using unauthorized hardware peripheral devices.
