    So I'm too poor to afford the high-tech, brand new Xbox types.

    I only just got my 360 Slim working again after losing the power cord 2-3 years ago. I was excited, because hey, I can play Minecraft-the game i play on PC religiously-with my friends who play on bedrock edition, seen as I had a Minecraft disc.

    So the first disc had faded and had a red-ish/maroon tint around the edge, so-surprise surprise- it didn't work.

    I was fine with this, I guessed it was nothing to do with the game/console, more the specific disc I had. So I ordered a newer, still used, good quality, cheaper one for £10 and it came good quality, with little to no scratches, etc. I was ready to get back
    to playing my favourite game on something I hadn't played on in years.

    I wipe it with a cloth and put the disc in, FULL of anticipation...

    And it didn't work. I took it out multiple times but it was always "Unrecognised Disc".

    I re-inserted it many times before admitting defeat and writing this.

    Strange thing is, all other games I have (GTA, Black ops, a few others) worked fine, and cleanly.

    I'm no tech-expert but I highly suspect it's an issue with the actual game itself, not the disc.

    Any help?

    Does the DVD version have the DLC ?

    The Minecraft Xbox 360 disc version does not include the DLC skins. You would still have to purchase them separately.

    more than likely you have a bad disc, Minecraft for Xbox 360 hasn't been made in almost a decade.

    You should return and exchange it
