    For future reference you should create a new thread detailing your issue.

    That error code means that your card has not be activated by the retailer. Please take it back and have them activate the card.

    Hi there,

    points systems are no longer in place, it is just gift cards, system has changed since xbox 360. Points are also obtained from Microsoft rewards but it's not the same as the 360 points

    Some prepaid card providers will block Xbox because they are concerned about repeating charges for subscription. Have you called the number on the back of the card and asked them if they accept charges for recurring internet charges?
