xbox 360 marketplace integrated into one marketplace

does anyone know if mircrosoft plans to ever integrate the xbox 360 marketplace into the xbox one marketplace?

anyone ever bring this up?

ive spent a lot of money on games on the xbox 360 marketplace and just feel like i got robbed once upgrading. i dont see why digitally older games couldnt be played.

I have a Xbox one and want to buy Banjo digitally to play on Xbox one? How can I buy this from the 360 marketplace. IS this possible?

So skyrim special edition is on sale for $20 on the Xbox marketplace but I already have skyrim for the 360. Is the jump from the 360 to Xbox one and not having to plug in my 360 again worth $20 to you guys?

 

Because the 360 hardware is not inside the Xbox One?

Yes... This is a prime example of how progress in the game console market works, from the manufacturers point. When you buy a new car do you get the gas/oil/windshield wiper fluid/etc that you put into the old one? It's a loose analogy but I think it works.
This is how they make even more money.

 

Why the choice of word, "robbed"? That would mean someone forcefully took your money and you got nothing in return. Unless I'm missing something, you made a purchase and the games that you purchased can still be played. (You shouldn't have sold your Xbox
360.)

 

The emulator talk is going around but as already pointed out, they can be a little shaky. We will just have to wait and see. It would be nice but I wouldn't cry if it never came. I don't think robbed is the right term to use though, it was announced long
before launch that this console wont openly support backwards compatibility / 360.
