    Change the mailbox of my Xbox account

    Good afternoon,

    Despite the fact that the title seems easy to solve, my problem is more complex than this.

    When I was younger, I created my Xbox account on my new Xbox 360 with the mailbox of my mother. Why? Because it was neccesary to insert a credit card.

    Anyway, the thing is that today, the years passed, and I want to dissociate the mailbox of my mother and have MY new mailbox, which would be independant.

    To recap : -> Permit to my mother to keep her own mailbox (Hotmail,...) and no more to be linked to my Xbox account, so that she still can have her own contacts, adresses, send messages,...

    -> Have a new mailbox with my Xbox account

    Would the email come in a outlook mailbox or Google mailbox?

    no, only adding an alias then making it the primary and removing the old one.

    then the old one will never be available again.

    the mailbox will still be the same though as the mailbox, Xbox account and Microsoft account are one entity and nothing can be transferred or moved.
