Xbox 360 login troubles.

I would like to be able to play the game disks I have played without login and the hours of waiting on the internet systems! Offline should be offline! I have purchased hundreds of dollars of equipment and games... I have spent both Christmas and now my
holiday spending hours of unaccessible game time! This has been a tremendous waste of my time and has made my decision to purchase a regrettable one.

Profile is stuck, and the #1 cause of stuck profiles is missing proofs. Microsoft Accounts now require 'proof' data, to allow you to 'prove' who you are. This is wise given that off-the-shelf hardware and easily found open source software can crack passwords
in very little time (see
arstechnica.com/.../25-gpu-cluster-cracks-every-standard-windows-password-in-6-hours ).

So, since Microsoft is security minded and protects your account data, they added proofs to secure his account. And, since Xbox LIVE accounts are built on top of Microsoft Account security, that applies to gamers like him and me. Proofs are:

1) A phone # (preferably a cell # to text you a message - very convenient)

2) An alternate email address (used to send a password reset confirmations)

3) A 'Trusted Device' (now works on Windows, Mac & Linux boxen)

4) A Security Question and Secret Answer

If you don't have 1, 2 & 4 filled in, you will be required to do to, so visiting
http://account.live.com/ and clicking on Edit security info is a good idea.

Ok, my friend. Can you uninstall and install Minecraft again?

Also, please do a Network Reset on Windows after you uninstall it (and before installing again):

Go to Start menu > Settings > Network and Internet > Status > Network Reset.

See if this works.

yea, im still facing troubles with the login of my account. sorry for the late reply, exams came in between ^^'
it still says "an error occurred during the login process" when trying to enter with my microsoft account
