XBox 360 log in.......

Hi there!

If you have turned on 2 step authentication for Xbox 360, the password that you used previously might not be working because of this. Please follow the steps in this article, to remove your PROFILE ONLY. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/my-account/manage-gamertag-and-profile/add-remove-profile-xbox-360

Once you have done this, restart your console and proceed to enter your account email address only.

In your web browser, try signing into the email account that you are trying to use. If you are successful, visit this page:

https://account.live.com/proofs/manage

From there, go to the 'App Passwords' section and choose 'Create a new app password'.

You will see a long code on screen. Go back to your 360, and move to the password part. Put the long code/app password in, that you see on your PC screen. From there, your profile should begin downloading and once complete, you will be able to play as usual.

Thank you for replying back! The error code you posted is in regards to your account having two-step verification on. Do you happen to know if you have two step verification on? If you're not sure, I would recommend checking out this support article

The confirmation was only when I did it online. The Xbox just gave me a code: 8015D002.

double check that your using the correct email attached to your account.

My email shows all small letters but my email when I got it showed the first three letters in capitol. I tried with both.
