I did as followed it's eeks that is the issue

I've accessed my Microsoft account and the region is set to india on there

When I go to change this it requests my number to get a code for security but whenever I type my number in I don't receive a code

Is there any way around this part haha 😂

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with being able to complete a purchase on your account.

Since you have already taken the time to
configure your region on your console, its possible that you still need to
change your 360 account region by going into your
Xbox settings on your Microsoft account.

Try configuring this to your regions and see if that helps with making purchases with the currency of your region!

In theory you can connect a Xbox One S, Xbox One X and Xbox 360 consoles locally. However, the game you intend to play has to support local link play.

However, for Xbox One games, I know of no game that supports local link play.

On the Xbox 360, there are several games that allow local network play, and if the Xbox 360 game is backwards compatible, you can also play that Xbox 360 version of the game on your Xbox One.

However, be aware that you can NOT play the Xbox One version of a game with the Xbox 360 Version of the game. So for example, you can NOT play FIFA 14 on the Xbox One together with a person playing FIFA 14 on the Xbox 360.

You can however play Halo 3 as a backwards compatible Xbox 360 title on the Xbox One together with someone on a Xbox 360.

Do you get an error code? Is it 80151906?

Also, have you tried clearing the local 360 storage by going to Settings -> System -> Storage, and then "Clear local Xbox 360 storage"?

The Xbox 360s allowed the ability for console owners to have local accounts on them. Local accounts were just that - accounts with no email/Microsoft account attached to it. Unfortunately if a local account is deleted from an Xbox 360, and no backup was
saved to another memory unit (hard drive, or USB device) there is no way to recover it, or any of the items tied to it.
