Xbox 360 Live - Managing Family Members and Parental Controls

Hello!

My son and I both have Xbox Live accounts, however, my son is not one of my family members. I would like to add him as a family member but do not know how to do so. Can you help me?

I would also like to change the parental controls I presently have set up, to allow my son to play a more mature game. However, my son is not of legal age yet (18). Can I still change the settings to put him as an adult even though he is a few years younger?

Please help me! It would be much appreciated!

First, sign into your profile.

Next, click the guide button on your controller. (the bigger one in the middle with an 'X')

Once you do this, scroll to the settings tab and click on family.

Next, find your son's profile and select it

Lastly click "add to family"

For your second concern, your son can still play the game, it is just rated M for mature. It is your choice if he is allowed to play the game or not.

I suggest you to set the parental controls for that console. The Xbox 360 console lets you customize and manage your family's access to games, movies, and television content. The Xbox 360 parental controls can be used to control both the console itself and
access to content on Xbox Live, including:

Which games can be played.

Which movies and TV shows can be watched.

How long each family member can use the console on a daily or weekly basis.

Sorry but you will have to pay like everyone else to change your gamertag.

You only get a forced name change if your gamertag violates the code of conduct which yours does not.
