Xbox 360 Live Gold on multiple gamertags?

Hello,

Quick question. I have a newly purchased Xbox 360 and me and my gf each have our own gamertag on the console. If I were to buy a year of Live Gold, would both of us benefit or just the profile I redeem it on?

Axemator is correct Xbox 360 you need to buy separate gold subscription for each user account to go on xbox live whereas Xbox one all you need is one gold account which can be transferred from xbox 360 and you can then make multiple accounts that will get
gold benefits for free on Xbox one only.

Yes it will transfer over. Also important to note that everyone in your household can use one gold membership for their profiles. So if you have multiple profiles for people on your Xbox 360 only one of you will need to renew.

Just the profile you get the gold for. For both to play on LIVE you will both need gold subscriptions.

I couldn't say about the gamertag but on staking free xbox live gold trials, it is not possible to stack multiple trials. You can only stack paid xbox live gold.

Is it possible to migrate the gamertag and gold membership to a different live account on xbox 360 and than it will be also visible on xbox one?

Hi,

Since Age of Empires Online uses your Xbox LIVE Gamertag you cannot be signed into multiple places at once. If you want to play Age of Empires Online on your PC you will automatically be signed out on the Xbox 360.

Your gamertag cannot be actively used in multiple places at once in regards to playing games.

Once you purchase the XBOX Live Gold Family Pack - 12 month, it lets the person that purchased the account to add 3 more people onto the account as secondary accounts which will all have XBOX Live Gold.

The accounts need to be added on the same XBOX 360, but after they are successfully added they will be able to move the gamertags to their own consoles regardless of where they are.

So to answer your question it's your own account (the person that redeems the code or purchases it) and then 3 more people (for a total of 4 people). This is a good thing to have if you have multiple people in your family that want to use XBOX Live Gold on
multiple consoles or on the same console.
