    Hi there llease can someone help me. I bought a live gold account and i am not sure if i have an active gold account as nothing has changed on my xbox 360 it basically looks offline but shows as online i cant see friends i cant play online with my friends
    i cant do anything except get my free game woohoo. It does not even show i have a gold account on my 360 BUT all is well on the website there i have all my gold access please help getting my consol on gold

    Xbox Live gold sharing is not a feature on Xbox 360. So if you want Xbox Live gold on both accounts on your xbox 360 console you would need to purchase a subscription for both accounts.

    Unfortunately, you won't be able to create an Xbox Live Gold account without the Xbox Live Gold membership, and that goes for the 360 accounts as well.

    Please ensure you have Xbox Live Gold on the account you are trying to use on your Xbox 360, Live Gold is not shared between account on the Xbox 360, unless it is a parent and child account.

    The Xbox One only requires that 1 account have Gold in order for other accounts to have access to Gold privileges. On the Xbox 360 each account needs a Gold subscription. This past weekend was a free Gold weekend which meant any Xbox Live account could
    play multiplayer and that is why your son was able to play. If he wishes to play multiplayer on the 360 he will need a Gold subscription.
