Xbox 360 live connection

Good day! I registered an Xbox Live account
through my Xbox 360 console, tied it
to the post. Then I created an account
on the Microsoft website. where
used the same email that
was signed up for the service
through the console. Now I can't log into my account
using console, It
keeps telling me wrong password and e-mail .
How do I now go to
Xbox Live on my console with already created account?

Anyone else unable to sign into xbox live when playing the 360 games?

When pressing both the Menu and View buttons to bring up the mini guide it just says connect to xbox live.

When you were creating a new profile on the Xbox 360, it should have asked you whether or not you were a member of Xbox Live. Did you answer that you are, or you are not? The Xbox Live setup steps depend on whether you're already an Xbox Live member.

Also, is your account an adult account, or a child account?

If you're not already an Xbox Live member, you probably created an "Offline Profile". An offline profile is an Xbox 360 identity you don't use with Xbox Live.

If you created an "Online Profile", then you should have already had an Xbox Live profile which is registered at the Xbox.com website.

I have found that the easiest way to set up an account is to go to Xbox.com, create an account, and then change the gamertag that it assigns you to what you prefer. After that, you can log into the Xbox 360 console with your email address and password and
it will show your profile/gamertag you selected.

If you want to link an offline profile to a gamertag, make sure your email address is not linked to any other Xbox Live gamertag first.

Sign in to the profile that you want to convert from an offline profile to a gamertag.

Go to Settings and then select Profile.

Select Join Xbox Live.

Enter your first name.

Enter your Microsoft account email address.

Enter your Microsoft account password.

Verify the information on the screen.

Verify the current privacy settings.

Review the Terms of Use and then select I accept.

Note: When you follow these steps, the gamerscore from your offline profile transfers to your Xbox Live profile.

I would visit the Xbox.com website and take a look at the account that you registered with that email address. If it does not allow you to sign in with that email address, then you would have to create an account at Xbox.com. It will give you a temporary
gamertag that you can change to your liking once you have created the account.
