xbox 360 license transfer issue

Hey there! I went to transfer my game licenses because my fiancee couldn't launch games I owned, and it appears as if the licenses were transferred to another system. My profile was on a system that was stolen a few years back, and that's where
my initial thought went, but I had changed the password to the account since. Is there some other way a person could access the account after the password was changed (autologin and whatnot?) Also, what other steps can I take to make sure that I am the only
one with access to the account and licenses?

Any help you have to offer would be greatly appreciated!

Transferring disc exported songs to a new 360?

Transferring isn't an issue as the transfer cable will transfer everything over with the exception of game installs.

However you will want to use the license transfer tool on the Microsoft site otherwise you would have to be online all the time to use the purchased content.

Edit: If you are selling the original hard drive with the console and are then unable to do the transfer then you will have to stick your gamertag, save games and the RB1 export files on a memory device before selling and then do the licence transfer on new console and download everything else..

 

If I transfer game licenses to a different 360, will it also affect Xbox One games for that gamertag?

We had 2 Xbox 360s and sold one to get the Xbox One. Some of the games were purchased on the Xbox we sold, so only the purchasing account can play them. I'd like to transfer the licenses for that gamertag (not this one) to the Xbox 360 we still have.
But I'm concerned that this will also transfer that gamertag's licenses for Xbox One games, rendering them unplayable. Does the license transfer tool in 360 Account Management only transfer 360 games, or could we lose the licenses for the Xbox One games? Thanks.

 

If your account was signed in on the other console and did not require the password to be entered, someone could have used it for the license transfer.

If you go here -
live.xbox.com/.../Protection - and click "Require Profile Download" it will require that you redownload your account in order to use it on any console which would require your login information. So no one else should be able to sign into your account.

The only other thing I can suggest is making sure you delete your account from other consoles is you're using someone elses.
