Xbox 360 Lego lord of the rings played on an xbox 1

Do you know if my Xbox one will read my lego lord of the rings 360 disc?

Recently I downloaded "Lego Lord of the Rings" so that I can play it on my Xbox 1, Have played it before on my 360 no problem.

There is a bug/problem with playing on the Xbox 1, When playing the episode "The Black Gate" in free play, after killing the first troll and moving to the second it will not let me change characters to kill the second, I am stuck sitting on its back as a hobbit. Am up to 95% and just need to complete "The Black Gate" to collect the final mithril bricks!!

The game doesn't even install for me and I have no clue as to why it won't

There doesn't appear to be a problem here with an Xbox product or service, since the problem is happening inside the game itself. There's nothing that we can do about this here. I'll provide you some links to Warner Bros. Games and their support section for you to follow up on and hopefully find the support you're looking for: Warner Bros. Games (warnerbrosgames.com) and LEGO Games Support (wbgames.com). We can't speak for them, as they are a different company from us entirely.

Best of luck, and I would look for other forums for fans of Lego games and ask about the problem there, too. With the age of this game, it's possible that it's no longer supported by WB Games, so the broader community may be your best option.
