Xbox 360 just got a System update :)

@ 10 mbps it took some 5 - 6 minutes to Dl and one reboot. I sure hope this is the one which allows 2TB external drives. Umm. I cant hit enter on the chatpad and structure my post better, and under each typed text there is a box which reads. 'Loading.' Anyone
know what this Update actually entails. Posted via 360 using IE. So no spellcheck.

I just got an Xbox Live system update on my Xbox 360. I was wondering what is about. Did anyone else get a system update?

Loading under text and enter works now. Oh, and 2TB EHDD support. Sweet!

 

Yes, the extra storage space has arrived just at the right time for me.

My only gripe would be the usb sockets staying active when the console is powered down, meaning the external drive keeps running unless you unplug it or the console.

 

Never considered that. So I will check to see if the EDTHDD I laid away has an On/Off switch or sleep mode feature.

Now the account balance pops up in the top R corner, and we can also check our net speed via the console.

Hopefully, this is but a fortaste of Bigger and better things to come for the Console of the Decade.

 

A fantastic update. Xbox 360 still laying the smack down amd evolving after almost 10 years. I still have some room left knee my 350 GB HDD, but I may use the rest of that up soon

No, this is Xbox 360. And the update took 5 minutes for me. Perhaps check your ISP, or reset your router or modem.
