    Xbox 360 issue


    The power chord to my xbox 360 the big block thing I assume it's a fan on the inside of it. I turn off my xbox and the block thing the fan I assume won't go off, so I can't turn on my xbox with that thing running but it stops if I unplug it as soon as I plug it back up the fan thing starts up again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Yeah, it sounds like it's had a lot of use over the 3 years & it's on the way out etc.. The only other likely problems are; The Power Supply or the Hard Disk Drive failing & to be honest, I would just upgrade, to a new Xbox 360 Slim Elite 250GB & transfer
    all the data off the 3 year old HDD, to the new 250GB HDD..

    Then maybe it is. I would recommend calling 18004MyXbox before relying on a friends information about your warranty though.

    Cache cleared, Xbox profile downloaded, it seems to have sped up the detecting of the disks slightly but not much, im guessing its on its was out :(
