Xbox 360 is saying that i am in the wrong region

If you nean an amerucan ip as In a VPN or google dns you hsve to go to your vpn provider

Then no that dorsnt work nor can we help troubleshoot it

If yiu are on an american foreign base then no you dont have an american ip US bases use local internet connection unless you talk ti your base commander for the DoD connection

Us bases in germany DONT use .a us connection your only option for thst is dod under the ms and dod aggreement though im not sure if thsts still going on or a satilite connection usualy sprint

The dod snd ms aggreement is still upto your commander

Sorry to hear you are running into this problem, how long have you had the console, has it always shown that you are in Germany when you are in the US or did this just randomly switch over?

I believe the Xbox One wont have a problem as it is region free, so will play games from any region. But as for the 360 that is no region free, so will not play US games.

I hope someone will let you know if I am right or wrong about this.

Unfortunately that is the case with regions in xbox 360, which would be another reason to upgrade with xbox one. You should contact xbox support as suggested previously and if there is no other alternative you should discuss the possibility of a
refund.

I did contact xbox support. They have unanimously advised me to contact xbox support and try the refund option, which is a dead end. Something's clearly quite wrong here, therefore...community!

Again, region lock is not the problem here, & i did not purchase from the wrong region. I am not in the wrong region. My console is not the wrong region.

I paid for a product, and have not received the product that the seller described. I want a refund or the correct product.

I was hoping someone in the community could direct this issue to a resolution without legal action, so i'll stick around a few days...

After playing with the menus it did download...not sure what did the trick...but now I can't play the game because it says wrong region! The region is NOT wrong - I'm in Israel, bought the game for this region (paid in shekels!), the console says the region
is Israel...What's wrong!?
