Xbox 360 is saying it was an wired network when there is no wire running to it

My 360 is saying that there is a wired network available when I don't have a wire connected. This is keep my 360 from being able to use WiFi at all. I have tried resetting the Xbox to factory settings and it is still do the same thing. I would love to be
able to get back on Xbox live and play with my friends and family again. Is there any way to fix this?

Can´t connect to xboxlive through a wired connection

I have an Xboxone X and have always connected through a wireless connection, when trying to connect it with a wire and then finding that connection it comes up with this message "You chose a wireless Network connection, but there is a network cable plugged
in" there is no settings to change my network connection to a wired connection. I´ve tried reseting my router and xbox plenty of times unplugging everything too.

Why is plugging a wire from my router to my xbox to get connected so difficult? and how do i solve this issue?

Problems to connect to Xbox Live

I'm trying to connect my Xbox One to the Xbox Live for months, and i not getting.

I try to connect and it say that is connected to the wired network being that there is no wire connected, what i should do?

What kind of 360 do you have? Old FAT or Slim. Also, can you describe in detail your hookup.

I have the slim that has built in WiFi. I have been working with Microsoft on the issue. I have a few last things they would like me to try, but if they do not work I have a good idea of what is wrong.

As far as the set up its very simple, I have plunged into a HDTV and the wall, but no Ethernet cable being used because it all the way across a large room from my router, but the Xbox 360 think there is an Ethernet cable plunged in.

Ok, I just want you to try this if you can. Get an ethernet cable and plug it into the console so that it connects to the network. Then unplug the cable and see if you can access the wireless features after that.

Wired network as well. When diagnostics ran on X-box one it says open, and in Ghosts it says moderate. I tried switching to wireless and it went to strict then, but I prefer a wired network anyway.

I am having this same issue. For the last year I have had 300mb internet and when I run network tests on both my WIRED laptop and WIRED PORT FORWARDED Xbox one always used to say 300+ download. Just over the last few days it has gone down on my xbox one
to 40-80mb. On my laptop it still says 300+. I am port forwarded as well as hard-wired. Anyone else having this issue?
