Xbox 360 Internet Speed Across all Activities

Hi after not using my xbox for about 2 months, I hooked it up and tried to play GTAV

It Took me 30+mins to download an update for it that was less then 50mb

and i would lag heavily in all games and apps

my internet speed is literately 120mb/s+ download according to speedtest.net just now

and works fine for my pc's, i can download anything super fast just like normaly

i have forwarded my ports

i have done power cycles on my router modem setup

i have cleared my cache

i have replaced my ethernet cords

i have tired playing with no hard drive

as far as i can tell there is nothing wrong with my hardware

and i was just wondering if there is anything else i can try to improve my connection

like other router settings or maybe wiping my xbox hard rive idk

Xbox live on a 6mbs uverse connection?

The minimum internet speed required for playing with Xbox 360 is at least 1mbps download speed and 200 kbps upload speed for Xbox Live. So that should be enough

How fast is Internet Explorer on a 360 Slim?

It depends on how fast your internet connection is. The internet explorer with my internet speed can almost keep up with my laptop. The Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 slim are going to operate at the same speed though

 

unusually fast speeds, i like it, id say double check connections try to clear system cache maybe something as simple as that ill post link for you...
