  1. Xbox 360 headset to PC jack adaptor? Please help!

    Hello Xboxers,

So, let me give you my situation and question, shall I? I just bought a game capture device called "Hauppauge PVR Rocket". This game capture allows for Live commentary. I would like to use this feature, but don't have a good way of recording my voice.
I can record commentary AFTER, but that just isn't as much fun. I can't use a mic alone, because my sound setup will interfere with it (surround sound).

What I WANT to do is use my Turtle Beach gaming headset for live commentary. That way, I can hear my game, plus record voice, but not have them interfere with each other. The PVR automatically combines commentary and video/audio, so that is no problem.
What I need is an adaptor for my headset. It needs to have a female side for the gaming headset chat jack, then a male side that can fit a PC or similar jack. I think the PC jack is 3.5 mm. Does anyone know an adaptor for this? Xbox 360 headset mic
to PC mic input? You'd be really helping me! Thank you!

  2. Help please?

    So hi guys,

I just want to ask that if it´s possible to connect any kind of headset into the xbox controller with the jack and if it will work or not.

I have a Genius HS G500V headset and when I connect it to the controller, the headset icon on the upper-right corner of the display shows it - however I cant hear anyone, nor talk with anyone - even if i test my MIC, it does nothing. The headset worked on
my PC tho so its not broken. I also tried some headphones that I use to listen to music on phone, but its the same. :/

So, do I need some special XBOX headset device to chat with people or theres a problem somewhere between me and my xbox ? Thank you in advance.

Will this work on my xbox? Please help me.

I have a new headset that i use for pc gaming its not expensive but i dont want to go out and spend more money on a headset for xbox one alone,

Basically i have the Corsair RAPTOR HS30 headset for pc and it comes with the normal pink and green audio jack.

If i was to go and buy this.

Would i be able to add that together with

Set Up and Use the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter

To then being able to use my mic and listen to sound without buying another headset?

You'd probably be better off asking this on the Hauppage forums

  5. Thanks Daft Badger. I was more looking for an adaptor that can work from any Xbox 360 headset mic to any other port, such as the PC ports. The X360 headset mic male plug is too small to fit into most standard ports (also iPod ports), so I need something
that can make up for that size difference. I was hoping someone here had used that before. Plus, I am not a fan of writing to the Hauppage people. They don't write back. Xbox 360 headset to PC jack adaptor? Please help! ;)

How do I connect my turtle beach x12s to my Xbox one and TV so that I can hear AUDIO?

Well if you were using the Xbox 360 audio adaptor you obviously won't be able to use that one the Xbox One due to the fact that it's HDMI out only. What I recommend is go to a Radio Shack (or another assorted electronic parts store) and pick up a Red and
White A/V to 3.5mm (regular headphone) adaptor. Then plug the two leads into the adaptor and then the adaptor to the headphone jack of your TV. If your headset came with an adaptor like that, then use that.

Does anyone know if the Xbox one will have any audio adapter of some sort?
