    Xbox 360 Headset not working


    Hello! I've seen other threads about this same issue, but can't solve my own. This is probably my 6th Xbox 360 certified headset. Every headset I've had has run into one of two issues. Either there is no audio coming through, or the microphone doesn't pick
    up on my voice. I am irritated that this keeps happening, even with gentle care. I do not abuse my headsets at all (examples being kicking them, throwing them, smashing them, etc.). If you can help in anyway, it is greatly appreciated.

    Connecting Turtle Beach Earforce x41 to xbox 1

    Have an Earforce x41 headset for xbox 360, recently purchased xbox1 and the headset adapter. I have updated the controller and game volume works fine through headset but chat is not working. Any Suggestions?

    anyone help me my wireless headset is stuck on port 2 and wont sync to port 1

    Turn off and disconnect all controllers from the Xbox 360 and disconnect the wireless headsets from the controllers.

    Connect the wireless headset to the Xbox 360 using the USB cable. Turn on the wireless headset.

    Sync the headset to quadrant 1 by pressing the "Connect" button on the on the Xbox 360. Then press the "Connect" button on the wireless headset for two seconds. Do not continue to press the "Connect" button on the wireless headset, as this will change the
    quadrant to which it is connected. If the headset now works without the controllers attached, the problem must be with one of your controllers. If the headset still does not work, then the problem is with the headset.

    If I buy a Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter can I use a xbox 360 headset? Also can I use any genuine 3.5mm headset on xbox one?

    There are currently no bluetooth headsets available for Xbox One. There are a number of wireless headset options on the market though. The Xbox 360 Wireless chat headset would not work with it.

    Hi Chuck,

    Thanks for the update. The headset could work there. Keep forgetting the 360 headsets were 2.5mm so will need to be a headset designed for Xbox 360. You will need a headset with a mic on it though as Hollywood mentioned.
