Xbox 360 HDMI to Projector, No Signal (worked before)

Hi!

I had an Xbox 360 S console which I played with on my projector as a screen, I used HDMI between them. One day I accidentally spilled water in the xbox, which ruined the motherboard. I bought a new Xbox 360 S console and took the old HDD to the new one,
and now I get "no signal". I have tried three different hdmi cables.

The xbox works fine on my parents TV with HDMI, and the projector works fine with my computer with HDMI. They just don't seem to work with each other, wich they did before..

I have tried to change settings. 380p, 720p, 1080p, 1080i, Display Discovery On/Off etc etc. No luck..

Please help, I have no idea what the problem is.

problem cable hdmi between xbox 360 and projector (no signal détected)

i have a problem with my xbox 360 and my projector, when i connect the hdmi cable between xbox and projector , i have no signal détected on the projector .

this is not the cable because when i connect this one between the tv and the xbox i have no problem.

when i connect the projector with the hdmi cable on computer or another game console like PS3 all is ok.

i try all the resolution of the xbox 360 on the projector but nothing change i have always no signal

my projector is EPSON EH TW490 the résolution supported are

VGA 60HZ 640x480

SVGA 60HZ 800x600

XGA 60HZ 1024x768

WXGA 60HZ 1280x800

60HZ 1366x768

can you help me? how do you connect a projector on the xbox ? is there an update to detect the projector? how do you parameter the xbox to connect the projector

can you convert the hdmi signal from an xbox 360 to avi to connect to a projector with out HDMI

can you convert the hdmi signal from an xbox 360 to A/V so I can connect to a projector with out HDMI functions.

I have a projector with out the HDMI functions, I had purchased a HDMI converter to A/V but it does not work with the xbox 360 Elite.

I works with other components such as a laptop....So its converting the signal from HDMI to A/V but when I connect it to the Xbox it does nothing.

The reason for this is because some games require HDMI connection in order to play 2 players or more on games LIKE MINECRAFT.

The reason for this purchase to be able to convert the HDMI signal to A/V and connect it to the Projector.

Other Components work fine using the converter and projector, but the 360 does not....Is there any special settings that need to be corrected for this to work???

Pls im open to any suggestions. Thank you.

 

Oh btw, it works with component cables (Only if its switched on TV and not HDTV thou)

And I meant 480p in my first post, not 380p.

 

I just tried with the original HDMI cable that comes with the xbox, still "No Signal"..

Frustrating. It still works with my parents TV.. And the projector works with my computer..

 

Well, im spamming my own thread, but what the heck.

Now I tried with a different xbox with my projector, it worked.

I changed the settings on my xbox so they are the same as the other one. It DOES NOT WORK?!

Can someone please tell me what the problem is? Incredible...

And yes, my xbox worked with the TV.
