    Xbox 360 Hard Drive with Titanfall problem


    We have an Xbox 360. We have a 120 GB HDD Hard Drive connected via transfer cable. The Xbox recognizes the hard drive and will let us move stuff and store stuff on it. However, when we try to play Titanfall, which requires a hard drive, it does not recognize
    that there is a hard drive connected to the console. Anyone have suggestions for getting the game to recognize the hard drive?

    Hey does anyone know why titanfall tells me I need a hard drive to play But all xbox 360 have hard drives but why wouldn't a USB hard drive work?

    Some of my friends are having the same problem with the 20GB hard drive and an original XBOX 360 but my other friends with an original XBOX 360 with a 60GB hard drive and up do not have this problem... I assume it's the hard drive?

    Sorry to hear it. What type of console are you using?

    If you have a drive connected via transfer cable then it is being recognized only as a flash drive. Regardless of the size of the drive a flash drive is only covered up to 32GB per drive (maximum of 2 at a time).

    Titanfall also requires a 1.2GB Optimization File in order to play. This optimization file cannot be stored on a flash drive but requires an official Xbox Hard Drive in order to play.

    Titanfall for 360 coming April 8 now.

    I have an Xbox 360 Slim with a 4GB memory stick, not a hard drive. I was planning to buy Titanfall for 360 for a while now, but recently I found out it required a 1GB hard drive space. If maybe I digitally downloaded it, then would I still need the 1GB hard
    drive space? Because I have a USB drive that can hold 20GB which should be more than enough for the game.

    Hey, FavoritePanda8, sorry to hear you're having issues with the game. Titanfall requires a 1.2GB update in order to play. The update cannot be installed on a flash drive but must be on an official Xbox 360 hard drive.
