Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Cable

Is it possible to use the Xbox Hard Drive Tranfer Cable to move my
Xbox 360 content to the Xbox One S?

I have my old XBOX 360 hard drive, and only an xbox one...

The Xbox 360 transfer cable was only for transferring data from one 360 hard drive to another 360 hard drive. There also were several versions of the cable that weren't compatible with each other and would only transfer between specific drives.

 

No. The transfer cable is only made to transfer data between 360 hard drives.

 

So how can I move the content to the One S?

 

You would sign into the account on the One. Any digital games that are backwards compatible would show in your games and apps as ready to install. Any game saves you want to use would need to be saved to the cloud and they will automatically sync when you
start the game.

That's all saved on the servers so once you sign into your account they'll be there.
