Xbox 360 Gold Title Not able to download via backward compatability

For several months (or ever since I sold my Xbox 360) the Xbox one store does not allow me to complete Xbox 360 transactions and I've tried on the computer, phone and Xbox one but it still does not allow me. Is there a setting I need to activate or is there
some sort of restriction? Can anyone please help me?

Backwards compatibility is a farce and a lie

You do NOT have to repurchase any of these titles my friend. Not all titles have been re-released yet for backwards compatability. There are currently 104 titles available. Once a game has been released for backwards compatability, it will show up in your
library to download FOR FREE. Microsoft will update thethe backwards compatability library regularly.

The issue here is that you did not do proper research before making poor decisions.

 

Question about the forthcoming Backwards compatibility...

I know Microsoft said that from September and onward all 360 Games with Gold titles will be backwards compatible. This leads me to believe that as long as the game is on the list, it will be compatible. So previous Gold titles such as Halo 3, Reach, Gears 3, Just Cause 2, etc. should work. Of course, they have not officially stated this.

 

Are you on a child account? Do you have a credit card/Paypal on file?

 

yes I am but nothing is restricting me and I have the ownership of the xbox live gold

 

Due to child restrictions, child accounts can only download 360 content on a 360 console.
