If you are still not able to redeem your code and you continue to get this message, you may need to go back to the retailer to have the code activated. Just prepare the receipt as proof of your purchase so everything is all set.

There are two types,xbox credits and gold membership cards, be sure you get the right one.

Pre-paid card credits can not be used to buy gold time.
