    i had recently purchased xbox gold live for 2 months so i could play online.my question is my son also is on the same console and has an account.do i need to purchase a separet xbox subscription for him or is their some steps to follow to
    grant him axcess the same subscrition that i purchased so that he may play online

    A Netflix subscription and an Xbox Live Gold subscription are 2 different things. To watch Netflix on your Xbox 360 you will need to have Xbox Live Gold and a Netflix subscription.

    You will need to purchase an Xbox Live Gold subscription individually to use it on your Xbox 360.

    Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is not compatible with Xbox 360, so the Xbox Live Gold that comes with it cannot be used on Xbox 360.

    only a standard Xbox Live Gold subscription will allow you to get a Game with Gold for free. a 14 day trial is like the name mentions a Trial subscription and won't allow you to get a 360 Games with Gold game for free, you will require a standard Xbox Live
    Gold subscription for that.

    Xbox One games with gold are usable by you when you have an active gold subscription and have redeemed them. If your subscription ends, you will have to buy the game or resubscribe to xbox live gold to use them again. There is no
    way to redeem a past xbox live game with gold when it is no longer available for redemption.

    Xbox 360 games with gold are different - you own those whether you have xbox live gold or not - on xbox one and xbox 360.
