Xbox 360 Gold for $1 ... or not?

Hi I was trying to take the $1 Xbox Live Gold offer that was on the homescreen of my xbox 360.. I tried several times, and got an error before I could get to the "confirm purchase" screen.

Now a day later, after sleeping, and working. Now the deal is gone, bogus!

Any help? Should I just call microsoft(Gawd I hope not)? ... Gotta save every penny you got, IMO.

Why do I need to connect tonXBOX live to play offline

to play online you need to have a (GOLD) in the xbox 360 and or the xbox 1

 

Dashboard promotions are shown at random and refresh each time you turn it on. So you would just have to wait to see if it'll pop up again.

 

Same here, and tried contacting through messaging, stated that they were closed, @ 9pm! Right below it says hours 9am-1am, now I'm on hold for 1hr tring to talk to someone!

As swmutche mentioned support cannot do anything about promotions

You will have to wait for it to reappear
