Xbox 360 games suddenly not working

Goodmorning everyone!

I've been having some problems with the xbox lately, I wanted to play fifa 14 but got the message ''this disc is unreadable, please clean with a soft cloth" so I did a few times and checked for any scratches and I could not find anything that could be the
cause of why the game won't play. After a few times of trying I got the Mixed Media Disc and unrecognized disc xbox 360 while still in dashboard.

Few days later I bought the fifa world cup game and It worked perfectly for about a day, this morning I tried to play the game and to my surprise I got the familiar error ''this disc is unreadable, please clean with a soft cloth' needless to say that the
disk could not have been scratched. After a few times of ejecting and putting it back in the game worked till the start screen. It then froze completly. I have already cleared cache and removed the hdd but nothing seems to work.

Could it be the disc drive? or is my xbox slowly dying? haha anyway guys thanks for the help. Have a good day!

You do realise that your 360 won`t suddenly stop working when the xbox one is released?

 

XBOX Store is not working

He guys,

suddenly my xbox store is not working anymore. Im getting the error number 0x00001F7. Restart didnt help. Everything else is working fine including games and other apps like twitch.

Any help is appreciated

 

Sorry to say that it does sound like its time for a repair. If you tried all the steps for fixing common errors, and it did not help, it is likely that time.

I would try different disks (games, movies, etc). If the problem carries over to other disk then I am afraid your drive is giving up. If it is just the one disk then there may be a problem with that disk.
