xbox 360 games' release

Just wanted to [Mod Removed] about Just Cause 3 ...why the
[Mod Removed] was it released ONLY with xbox one considering previous versions were released with xbox 360?? luv my console NO way im upgrading to xb 1..come on man, (whomever) we need JC3 - just sayin'

prior to this week everywhere i read said 24/4...
but ive preordered on gameplay, release days 1/5 there

 

Are you buying X-gen games on both systems?

Xbox One only for me.

I have ordered Batman: Origins and GTA V for the 360 but those games are not announced for the Xbox One so they don't count . If they are announced (not released) for the Xbox One before the games are released on the 360 I'll cancel my pre-orders for those. If they are announced after the release of the 360 version I may double dip depending on how good I find them.

 

Simple.Just Cause 3 wont run on the 360 as the console is not powerful enough.

At the end of the day it's down to the games developers whether or not they make a 360 version of a new release.

The reality is that if you want to play the newest games now you will have to upgrade to a Xbox One or PS4.

 

appreciate all that, thanks - so programmers won't be making anymore game builds for the 360, anymore? im ok with upgrading one day but not till ive played more titles for the 360...

for me thats good since i came into this hobby very late and am a single player..got many more games to go b4 THAT happens...by then maybe the x1 will be priced in my budget...anyways, thanks again for the input

 

There might be some that will make 360 games, but with newer systems out there, they're most likely to create them for those systems instead of older ones.

 

makes sense now...guess itll be a while b4 ill get to play JC3 ..im always behind the times with this stuff anyhow, but that's fine since pricing will be much lower for new xb1 consoles and new/used games down the road... just wanted JC3 NOW. dang it..lol,

side note; ive only played like 40 or so titles so far, so ive got a ways to go b4 upgrading the console

i may look into my windows 10 app one day to maybe buy PC games to play with a 360 adapter..maybe then ill have access to newer titles...we shall see - apprece all your replies

 

The One does offer backwards compatibility so you can still play 360 games on the One. Not all games are available though.

Game requirements depend on the developer if it has higher res graphics and large amount of content that take more procceING TIME of course it going to require a next gen system
