    Xbox 360 games not working


    I had a problem with black ops 2 not working on my xbox one s.Here is something i tried and now black ops 2 works. Here is what i did. I put a normal dvd not a blue ray into the xbox and let it run. And then put the 360 game in and it works.

    All Xbox 360 games work on all Xbox 360s, some of them work on Xbox One and Series

    All Xbox One games work on all Xbox Ones, some 360 games work on Xbox One and virtually all of them work on Series consoles

    Xbox Series games only work on series consoles

    If your Xbox 360 does not have an official Xbox 360 hard drive installed, then that will be why the game does not work. For Backward compatible games to work on the Xbox 360 you need to purchase the official Xbox 360 drive. An external drive will not work.

    If the DLC is for the Xbox One version of the game, then no, you can't use that DLC on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

    For example, Assassins Creed IV Black Flag is a Backwards Compatible Xbox 360 game that works on the Xbox One. However, if you buy Xbox One DLC, then this will NOT work on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

    But if you get the Xbox 360 DLC content for a Backwards Compatible game, the DLC will work on the emulated Xbox 360 on Xbox One.

    Games for Windows games only work on PC, they won't work on your Xbox 360. If you want to play it on Xbox 360, you'll need to buy the Xbox 360 copy.

    You will need to buy Xbox One games, as the Xbox One is not backwards compatible. Xbox 360 games will not work on the Xbox One, and Xbox One games will not work on the 360. Sorry!
