Xbox 360 games not working on XboxOne but are on the backwards capability listing

Hello,

We have purchased an Xbox One system. We also have several Xbox 360 games which are on the backwards capability listing but cannot play as I keep getting the same message- this game cannot be played on this system. All of the Xbox 360 games were purchased
through retailers, it seems I need to get the digital licence in order to download the game. How do I get the digital licence for the 360 games I own? I tried going online and nothing shows up in my purchase history.

Please give some guidance.

Hello does anyone know why the xbox 360 games that are backwards comabitable and owned are not showing up on Micorsoft XBOX webpage ?? unders game and xboxone and PC games ??

Xbox One Backward Capability

Ok instead of having Xbox One backward capability, why don't we update the Xbox 360 to play Xbob One games? This will fix Xbox One lack of backward capability issue.

As long as the games are backwards compatible, they should work whether you have the disc or digital. To get the digital license you would basically have to rebuy the games digitally, which you shouldn't need to do. Double check that they are all on the

No it wont sorry the xboxone controller is designed for the xboxone not for the 360. XBOXONE also cant play 360 games because its not backwards compatible.

I doubt it last time you could play the backwards compatible games on your 360 with people on first xbox but none of 360 games will work on XboxOne so nope can't see it

PES 4 is not listed in the Xbox 360 backwards compatibility list for original Xbox games , PES 5 is though.
