    Xbox 360 Games Not Installing


    I recently bought Skate 3 on my Xbox 360 and I have tried to install it about 7 times throughout the day. However, every time it reaches 79% it restarts at 0%. I have tried clearing my cache and restoring my network settings to factory default and nothing
    is working. I would appreciate it if I could find some way to fix it. Thanks.

    Notes

    • Installing an Xbox 360 game on a hard drive requires between 4 and 8 gigabytes (GB) of free disk space.
    • After installing a game on your hard drive, you still need to have the game disc in the disc drive when you start the game.
    • Installing games on your hard drive improves load times and minimises game disc access.
    • You can install games to a USB flash drive or to an Xbox 360 4 GB console. However, some games will not play correctly.
    • Original Xbox games cannot be installed on an Xbox 360 Hard Drive.

    I would always recommend installing your games when possible.

    Ok. The problem for me is I can't install Xbox 360 games on Xbox One. My 360 is broke and they force me to put a credit card to install the game on One.

    All games have to be installed on the Xbox One whether they are disc or digital. It's due to the technology. The 360 did not require games to be installed which is why a 360 game may show differently, but will still install the game on the One.

    You haven't stated if you are using a Xbox 360 or a Xbox One. If you are trying to install on a Xbox One, then the whole game installs without the need to install the 2nd disc. If you are using a Xbox 360, then you do not need to install the discs.

    Thing is the only game that is installing is Skylanders while the other which is the 360 game is DOWNLOADING not installing so how come is one installing (also updating) and the other is just downloading and not even installing a single GB.
