Xbox 360 Games List not updating with most recently played

Hi there, Ive been having an issue when I play a 360 game that it does not go to the top of my list of 'Games'

eg. I played Dead Island over the weekend but it still states that I last played it some time last year and is further down the list than it should be.

The only games that go to the top of my list are new games I play for the first time, but for everything older they are stuck down the list and then I have to scroll down to find them, its a big annoyance

Would like to know if this has happened to anyone else and/or what the fix is? I appear to be the only one out of my friends with this issue

Hey there, this does sound strange and I haven't come across it myself, but if you make sure you've log-on to the console while connected to the internet I suggest deleting the profile from the console (profile only), clear the system cache, restart the
console and re-download the profile. This can sometimes fix weird profile issues and syncing problems.

Delete and re-download profile:
support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

Clear system cache:
support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

I think thats worked yes! Not brought to the top everything I had played recently but just started up Gears 1 and thats gone straight to the top so thanks!
