Xbox 360 games language selection is different from Xbox One...

So... Probably someone else reported this but today I've downloaded the video game "Disney Bolt" on my Xbox 360.

I know the game has italian language in it(and others). But on XBox 360 the game starts in english....

At first I though that Microsoft could publish the digital versione of the game only in english language.

But then I've noticed this on the "xbox one version" of the webpage, also look at the size of the game....

Now this is the xbox 360 webpage of the same game

So... I've downloaded the game both on 360 and Xbox One.... on the One the game starts in italian, that's because the console downloaded the multilanguage version (english, spanish and italian) while on the 360 the console downloaded the english only version
(or maybe there is some other language inside but I cannot know which one).

I suppose this is not normal... I've used the same account, the language settings on the console are right. So I think this is some issue that Microsoft should solve and probably it's related to other games. Also I wonder why the date of the Xbox 360 webpage
refers to the backward compatible game while the Xbox One refers to the original release date...

The difference in file size could be due to the Xbox Backwards Compatibility games, often having a slight graphical upgrade.

I'm unsure how to futher assist. Sorry I was unable to help resolve this for you.

Happened to me in AC games, but it seems, some games can't be changed but in the future it could be possible

If you need multiple languages it is possible that one allows for only one language install while the other system may require ALL languages to be installed instead of pick and choose languages. This could be why the large size difference.

Capito. Per me non è un problema. L'ho notato per caso e così ho indagato un attimo. Secondo me si tratta solo di "aggiustare" il download per 360 in modo che la console scarichi la versione multilingua. Non penso sia poi così difficile. Il fatto è che ormai
è una cosa troppo vecchia e nessun ci far caso.

Ciao, normalmente il gioco viene avviato nella lingua della console. Facendo delle ricerche ho trovato che Bolt ha avuto problemi con la lingua (nella sua versione xbox 360) sin dall’uscita. Purtroppo non credo sia possibile cambiarla: non ho infatti trovato
alcuna soluzione.

Ho trovato una discussione qua sul forum (del 2012 mi sembra) nella quale veniva detto che, proprio a causa di questo problema, l’assitenza Microsoft aveva restituito l’importo del gioco.

Hi, usually games start (and download) according to the language of the console. I found out that Bolt has been having language problems since its launch back on the 360. I do not believe it is possible to change it though. I’m really sorry: I found a thread
on this forum (which was created back in 2012 i believe) in which it stated that the microsoft support gave a refund for this problem.
