Xbox 360 Games and Content Query

Hello All,

Apologies if this is a duplicate post,

A bloke is wanting to sell me his 360 and he has 40 games on the hard drive itself, these have map packs etc.

Now i was under the impression if I signed in with my profile I wouldnt be able to use the games or map packs as he purchased them on his gamertag, is this correct?

Shit here apparently is cheap, i personally sold my 360 to a guy at work with a wired controller, halo 4, and gears for 100.

I was wondering if there is a way to transfer your progress from on account to the other.

This is true so long as he doesn't license transfer the content to another console for himself.

Now, you should also be aware that what you are suggesting is called Marketplace Theft and could result in the ban of both your gamertag and/or console.

In the ToU and CoC of the Live service it is stated that a person cannot sell/give away his gamertag or purchased items.
