    Xbox 360 Gamertag


    About a week ago I signed into my account to discover that my gamertag had been changed to what looked like a microsoft generated name, I paid to change my gamertag and I didn't receive any notification as to why my name was changed so I was just wondering
    why this happened and what I can do to resolve this issue. thhanks

    Live Account over 360 and Xbox One

    Has it been stated anywhere how it's going to work if you move to Xbox One & keep your 360 ?

    Will you still be able to log into Live with your gamertag on both machines (ie swapping between the two systems at will) or will your gamertag be stuck on the Xbox One ??

    Will the same two tier license work on Xbox One as it did on Xbox 360 though? e.g. you get a license for the console and a license for the Gamertag.

    it was changed because the one you changed it to violated the rules. there is no resolution you can change the one you have again and you will have to pay for it, and note if you change it to something else and it gets changed again too many of those result
    in a perm ban from live.

    That's the issue - The gamertag I used on my XBOX 360 does not have an associated Microsoft Account or Email. It was an Offline XBOX 360 -- never connected it to XBOX Live. The gamertag has always been offline.
