    Xbox 360 Game With Gold needs to be purchased on Xbox One


    I have several free Xbox 360 games acquired through Games With Gold. Some of them, like Tomb Raider and FH2: Fast & Furious, are only playable on Xbox One if I purchase them through the store as they are part of a bundle and not
    available separately. I can see this when DLC is bundled, however these games were all promised to be available for free on both consoles when redeemed during the specific time frame. In the case of FH2:FF, the Xbox One bundle only adds the Forza Hub app,
    which is totally free. To be clear, some of the other Xbox 360 Games With Gold titles I have are playable without a problem on the Xbox One and I have not had any lapses or problems with my Gold status. The bundle is not expensive, but the principle that
    I have to re-buy a game because it becomes part of a bundle at a later date in order to play on the Xbox One rubs me the wrong way.

    Games with Gold - Borderlands not available?

    A future update (March's, probably) will allow you to see the Xbox 360 Games with Gold in the Xbox One's 'Gold Hub', and will allow you to purchase the game from the Xbox One itself, so going forward you should not run into this. Until then, all Xbox 360
    games need to be "purchased" on Xbox.com or Xbox 360, as was the case here.

    It has always been like that not unless there will be an update regarding in redeeming Xbox 360 games with gold on the website. Xbox 360 marketplace has a different structure than on Xbox One Store. Xbox 360 games with gold on the website will need a payment
    method. In Xbox 360 console, you won't need one. Currently, you can't redeem Xbox 360 games with gold using Xbox One console and still under progress about redeeming Xbox 360 games with gold on Xbox One console. Either get the games using an Xbox 360 console,
    or get the games on the website with a payment method.

    To claim 360 games with gold for xbox one you need to have linked with the account a valid method of payment, credit card. In this case a purchase of 0,00$ is registered while claiming the game.

    Since the account is that of a minor and not allowed to purchase online, it cannot claim the 360 games with gold for xbox one.

    Unfortunately Xbox 360 game purchases can't be completed on an Xbox One console or at Xbox.com without having a payment method such as a debit/credit card registered to your account. One you have done this it should allow you to complete the Xbox 360 games
    with gold purchase without charge.

    If you try to complete this purchase on an Xbox 360 console you will not need to register another payment method.

    Please note not all Xbox Live Gold subscriptions (typically trial subscriptions) include Xbox 360 games with gold games.

    Also if its xbox 360 you need to do it on an xbox 360 or use your account

    Also home gold doesn't extend to the website only the master account can make gold purchases on the website

    But xbox one games that you buy directly from the xbox one console because you are using the console with the home gold it still applies

    But home gold does not apply for 360 games you need the actual primary account to make the purchase
