Xbox 360 game saves transferred to Xbox one??

Good afternoon.

I know that only some games are backwards compatible and the game that I am looking to play on my Xbox one is Payday2. This game is not yet compatible, so I have to buy the game which is fine. The question is I was a high level and would really hope I don't
have to start at round 0 as I would lose all my masks and weapons and progress.

Will my last save on my Xbox 360 convert to the Xbox one when it is installed on the Xbox one or will I lose all my current progress from the Xbox 360??

Borderlands Handsome Collection PC Cross-Save

I was just wondering if it was possible to transfer my Xbox One Borderlands 2 save to PC. I originally started on Xbox 360, then transferred to Xbox One when I got the Handsome Collection. Can I use cross-save once again to move this save to PC?

Turn on cloud saving in the 360 menu so when you get a One his saves will be there for backwards comparability.

I guess you then need to play each game so the game saves go to cloud?

Then take the whole lot down to CEX or eBay and get a One for Xmas!

You won't need or want the old machine, well I didn't.

Get game sharing and foreign store purchasing and don't look back.

 

No sorry. This would be up to the developers. A few have done this (Destiny, GTAV), but Payday 2 does not have the ability to transfer your progression between console generations.

 

If your game becomes backwards compatible you will need to move your save games to the cloud from an Xbox 360 console. This will allow you to continue where you left off single player.

As for multiplayer, your progress is stored online. You won't start from the beginning. Different game, but when Call of Duty Black Ops was made BC, I went online and found my online level to be the same as the last time I played it on the 360. This applies
to all BC games and online play.

 

Pleb - if you plan on buying the XB1 version of Payday, and not waiting for the X360 version to go BC, you will lose all progress. If I understand you correctly, I think that's your plan/question.

if you wait for it to go BC (and that's a big IF since there is a XB1 version of the game), then yes, as Obsessive Power stated, everything would transfer over.

 

BC games are run like Emulators, it runs in the 360 architecture, Game saves on 360 are not compatible with xbox one games, even cloud. Dragon Age was able to create a save system by transferring the 360 save to a website and then creating a file that would
simulate the save, but you were still able to change portions of your save. Even this was not 100%. The only way to get the exact save, is to play in the same architecture. I suggest enjoying the new play through.
