Xbox 360 game saves & DLC data to Xbox One w/o using the cloud

Hey all,

I am trying to transfer some of the data from my saved xbox 360 games to xbox one without using the cloud. My xbox 360 is having trouble connecting to the internet(I think the wireless adapter is broken), so I am trying to copy my data files to an external
hard drive so I can move them to xbox one. I created copies of the desired 360 game files, and saved them to my USB, But when I try to open the files on my xbox one, xbox one saying that there are "no files found". Xbox One recognizes there is a USB plugged
in to the port, and even recognizes there are files taking up space on the USB. But it will not recognize what those files are. When looking at the USB files on my computer, I can see the files in the folder (see image below)

Basically I want to get my 360 files from my 360 hard drive to my One hard drive so I can play the same 360 games (with my game data from 360) on my One. Let me know if anyone has any ideas as to why this is happening to my game files? I thought it would
be as easy as "copy & paste" from one to another but I am having trouble doing that and would appreciate any and all help I can get. Thank you all in advance!

As IRB has stated it's not possible. Sorry.

For system security and Anti-piracy, Microsoft have prevented Xbox One consoles from being able to read 'game data' or other types of code from being run from an un-trusted source. If the Xbox One were able to read these files, run them or copy them to
the console, this could be used as 'back door' to the console to circumvent the OS and run unsigned code.

In laymen's terms, they don't allow this as it could be utilised by hardware hackers to get the console to run software that it is not meant to run, such as illegally obtained pirated games.

If your 360 console won't connect via wireless, then you'll have to find a way to connect it via a wired connection. You will then need to copy the save files to the cloud to use them on your Xbox One.

This is the only way to get save games from a 360 to an Xbox One. There is no other way.

That won't work. The only way for the Xbox One to see your Xbox 360 saved files is via the Xbox 360 Cloud Saves.

Any DLC you own for a game will be listed under the "Manage Game" option for the installed game, where you can install any DLC that isn't already installed.

Happy to take a look at this with you, for starters have you successfully moved your save data from the Xbox 360 into the cloud to download on the Xbox One? Also are you using the same profile on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One? Here is a guide that will show
you how to move the save data from the Xbox 360 into the cloud.
Copy, move or delete Xbox saved games, profiles, and avatar items.

Make sure the save data is in the cloud and let us know how that goes!

If you want your progress to sync to your Xbox One then turning on the cloud saves on your Xbox 360 and backing up the data is required. Once that is done and after you download the game on your Xbox One, the data syncs from the cloud and creates the same
save data to your Xbox One. Follow this guide for assistance:
