xbox 360 game on one x saying I'm "signed out"

Two times in the last couple days I've been playing an xbox 360 game on my one x and when I go to save it tells me I'm "Signed out" and need to close the game (and loose my progress) so that I can "sign in". What is it talking about? I'm not signed out
of my xbox account. Basically the "fix" is to just close the game, loose my progress, reopen it. What am I supposedly signed out of and how to I get this to stop happening? Finding out I can't save a game for no reason after playing it for 30 minutes is
garbage.

Were you even signed in to begin with? Normally a 360 game signs you in at the start. You see that prompt coming up on your screen.

"<USERNAME> signed into Xbox Live"

Is yours an issue with not being able to download your 360 profile to the One (S/X)? If so, there's an easy solution for that.

Go to your Network Settings > Advanced Settings and select an alternate port. 3074 isn't working properly. I selected 53161.

Try your game again. It should now download your 360 profile and auto sign in from the start and you should be able to save also.

Ayy man,i got the same problems.

looks like xboxone playing XBOX360 games need to extra sign in xbox360 live,using different network socks.

my issue is more wrose than yours,because yours just like a sample network issue.

If you're talking about the 360, just hit the guide button then press X to sign out. Then select the gamertag you wish to use. If you're talking about the Xbox One, then just say out loud "Xbox Sign me in" then select the gamertag you wish to use.

To confirm, did you already try to sign in your account through the Xbox 360 console and Xbox 360 games on your Xbox Series X?
Don’t you have problems with Xbox One/Series X games?
What error message/error code you got there exactly?
