    Xbox 360 Game Not Installing On Xbox One


    I’m trying to install Assassins Creed 3 onto my Xbox One , i have tried multiple ways of trying to fix this from other discussions none seem to work , It always pop’s up with “This Game is not Playable here” and error (0x8082000c)

    If you know any ways of fixing this please share.

    The Xbox One has to be online to install Xbox 360 games, even if you have the disc for the Xbox 360 game in the Xbox One.

    You haven't stated if you are using a Xbox 360 or a Xbox One. If you are trying to install on a Xbox One, then the whole game installs without the need to install the 2nd disc. If you are using a Xbox 360, then you do not need to install the discs.

    Ok. The problem for me is I can't install Xbox 360 games on Xbox One. My 360 is broke and they force me to put a credit card to install the game on One.

    As long as the xbox 360 game is backwards compatible, you can play on the xbox one. When buying a xbox 360 game from xbox.com, the game will not auto download but instead be in your ready to install list. Now if you get a xbox one game that will automatically
    install on your home xbox.

    All games have to be installed on the Xbox One whether they are disc or digital. It's due to the technology. The 360 did not require games to be installed which is why a 360 game may show differently, but will still install the game on the One.
