XBOX 360 Game downloads reset after 79%

I have just spent the last 2+ hours trying to download Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and everytime the download completion counter reaches 79% it resets to 0%, this doesn't happen with smaller indie or arcade games.

I have checked my network connections and reset my router

i have deleted the incomplete downloaded game, cleared the xbox 360 cache and restarted the console.

i have even deleted and redownloaded my profile

and still the problem persists

i have 131GB of hard drive space free and a 100 megabit fibre broadband connection, the xbox 360 plays all games that are currently installed fine, installs games from disc and smaller downloads just fine and is connected to the router via ethernet also
before anyone asks my region (UK) has not changed since i setup my xbox account over 7 years ago.

Thank you, that appears have worked although it is still glacially slow when downloading big 360 games regardless if its wired or wireless.

Personally have this problem with 2 of my games here in the US and i just finally downloaded a game. I turned off my background downloads. (Settings ->system -> console -> startup and shutdown -> background downloads) and also turn my auto-downloads off
(Settings ->system -> console -> auto-downloads) i then erased all data to the game from my hard drive. Went thru the marketplace and then downloaded it again from the game buy screen and literally watch it download... the... whole... time...

I hope this helps you and many others....

If not that check to see if your 360 has ur last 125 gb locked up in system prefomance

hey I'm having the same issues as well with downloading from xbox 360 or through the website, after about 79% the download will stop and when i go to storage the game file will be listed as corrupted and not playable. Any help here will be appreciated

Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that Just Cause 2 is only able to download to 79% on your Xbox 360. This is a known issue with Xbox 360 games at the moment. We are investigating the issue, and we ask that everyone please remain
patient while we resolve it. There are some instances in which we have seen some troubleshooting steps resolve the issue. The option that resolved the issue for some people is

resetting your Xbox 360's network settings to factory default. After the reset, go ahead and try installing the game again. Be sure to let us know the results!
