Xbox 360 game download reaches 79%, then restarts at 0%

Hello

I recently purchased the 360 game Risen through the marketplace, and the download was progressing along as it does. Once the download reached 79%, the progress reset itself back to 0%, and started over, and continued to do this multiple times. I've tried
the usual methods of fixing Xbox 360 issues, (cleared cache, re-download profile, etc), and still I have the same issue. I have more than enough hard drive space, so that isn't the issue, and my internet connection is fast and stable.

I've been reading similar threads on several sites regarding the same issue, and the general consensus is that this some type of region-based issue. I've never messed around with regional settings, and everything pertaining to my xbox and account is, and
has always been, based in the USA.

At this point, I'm not sure what else I could do to get things moving along, so any help that anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.

TC RainbowSix Vegas 1 and 2 still aren't working

********TEMPORARY FIX FOUND********( PLEASE GIVE ME CREDIT AND SHARE EVERYWHERE)

Steps

1. Delete any corrupted game files

2.Clear the Cache on all of your storage devices and restart your xbox 360

3.Log into your account and start the download for the game you wish to install.

4.When the game download reaches the 70% mark, start an ARCADE game and play it as long as it doesn’t stop your download

5.The game will successfully pass the 79% Glitch mark as long as you play the ARCADE game until you receive a notification saying the download is completey

*Must be an ARCADE game

*If it doesn’t work at the 70% mark, then try 60 or 50.

*Use a wired connection for a faster download

Remarkably, this actually works. I've managed to download 3 games using this method that used to have the 79% issue.

I've watched many videos and read a lot of support pages and I cant see one solution in this article that is in a lot of other ones change your region to a different country a couple of times till it works because Xbox for some reason won't let you download
games in some countries/regions and make it go to 79 percent then restart and I've seen it happen with games like bo2 and skate 3 I'm having the problem with skate 3 and I'm downloading with my changed region and I changed it to the united kingdom i will say
if it works when my download restarts or finishes
