Xbox 360 game download keeps resetting

Recently, I bought Halo: Combat Evolved on my Xbox 360. After an hour of figuring out why the
purchase option wouldn't appear on the game's page, I finally round it in the "On Demand" section of games. After purchasing it successfully, all seemed well until the download went to 99%. Once it got there, the download reset to 0%, and it repeated this
over and over again. I have tried many things, like testing the XBL connection, redownloading my profile, clearing the cache, etc. Also, I have confirmed that the purchase went through successfully because $9.99 got subtracted from my MS account and the webpage
for Halo showed "Already Purchased". I've searched this up, but I haven't found any solutions. Some
people have a similar issue when the game download stops at 79%, but I still don't have an answer. I think that this has something to do with Microsoft, but I'm not too sure. Any help would be appreciated!

Fixed: basically, I just let it sit, and it finally competed. There should be a better way though.

Are you installing on an xbox one or xbox360. If you have to keep clicking install it isnt fully installing.

Is the game still in the active download queue.

Have you tried reseting your xbox?

installing on my 360,when the game is fully downloaded,it downloads again! i reset my 360 same problem

Just delete your profile. There is nothing else you need to do.

If you don't want to lose the content, then just delete your gamertag/profile and any save files and avatar items for it.

Any downloaded game or DLC should be usable by any profile on the console as long as they aren't deleted.
