Xbox 360 Game disk won’t show install prompt on Xbox one

Today i got a Forza Horizon 1 disk from gamestop; preowned, no scratches or anything, i go to put it in and it doesn’t give me an installation prompt. It also sounds a bit differently compared to other disks i have when putting them in. No installation prompt or “Forza horizon installing...0%” comes up at all when putting the disk in, i can’t even purchase the game on the store as it’s been taken down for digital download

i’ve taken notice of a small little chip on the inside of the disk (the part where you can put your finger through that center hole) and that it doesn’t have the shiny xbox logo sticker anywhere on the top of the disk

Mind you i’ve tried other game disks i own and all work properly

i’ve tried restarting my xbox a few times, power-energy restarting it, ejecting the disk more than once, flipping over the xbox and hitting it softly on the bottom where the disk drive is, and even flipped the disk over (label facing downwards) and nothing worked at all

How do you know it plays it from the disk?

If you are sure it plays it from the disk try the following:

-From the xbox 360 dashboard go to "My Xbox"

-Go to the box that shows the games....

-Choose the game you installed.

-If you select the game you installed an option that prompts you to play "installed game"

-If it still does not work, delete the installed game then re-install it.

delete everything bf3 including xbox cache , install both disks , insert disk one (or whichever disk does NOT contain the HD content) and start the game , when prompted to install hd pack select yes you will be prompted to switch disks , DO NOT exit the
game just switch disks and wait till it starts too install itself dont press anything

like for some reason, I can’t play Xbox one game discs cuss they won’t install. I can only install and play Xbox 360 game discs and games that have been installed from the store.

I have the same problem since the last xbox one update. DVD movie and Xbox 360 disks won't work, only bluray disk. I can't install new retrocompatibility games or play with current installed games with disk. Maybe, something wrong with an update.
