    Xbox 360 Game Creation Software/Unity Module?


    Is There a Way for me to get my hands on a Unity Module or Xbox Exporting Software So I Can Make Games For My Xbox? I Don't Need to Publish, I Would Simply like to make games for myself on my Xbox 360.

    Unity support for Xbox One will ensure devs can "go crazy" with the hardware.

    Microsoft has started to send developers Unity game creation tools for the Xbox One. Its going to allow developers to port unity 360 games over to the one with ease. It will also allow them to utilitze the hardware better by increasing things such as shader counts, particles, and such. Its really cool.

    Hey there! Currently they is no software for customers to purchase and make there own private games for Xbox im afraid!

    Fantastic idea though!

    To my understanding, the Unity game development software (by default) allows you to compile your game for Xbox 360 (among many other consoles) for free.

    However, getting it to run on your Xbox 360 console will likely require a developer account and access to the proper SDK's.

    Right, However for Xbox 360, Unity Says this on their Page for it:

    "Xbox 360

    Anyone wishing to deploy to Xbox 360 must sign up via an approved publisher such as Microsoft Studios."

    And there is a link leading to the same link you gave me, however, there is nothing for Xbox 360, just Xbox One, Which I don't have. I Was Wondering If there was simply a link error and it redirected me there, and if there was a seperate page for 360.

    Hey, ultraskullLP! Unfortunately, the 360 Indie Game development program was put in retirement last year. You can see the announcement on our MSDN Blog

    here    . Unity may have not updated their site once the announcement went out.

    If you do get an Xbox One or Windows 10, or are interested in that, be sure to check out the Developers link that's on their FAQ for more information on how to join that program. Thanks for understanding!

    Unity and medigel were combined in Mass Effect 2. Why do you think picking a medigel up in game adds one to your Unity count?

    That does not change the fact though that if you get the Trauma Module you can use medigel or Unity or whatever you wish to call it, to heal Shepard.
