    Hi there,

    a code for a Xbox 360 game, can only be used for a Xbox 360 game, it can not be used to get a PC version for that game.

    Xbox 360 games can only be downloaded on either a 360 or, if they are backwards compatible, on an Xbox One.

    Xbox 360 game codes do not work on PC.

    You can of course redeem codes for consoles using a PC web browser (or a browser on any device for that matter), but the game will only be downloadable on a compatible Xbox console.

    @ODSTHellPhoenix : You can always try ebay, as there often a few new/sealed copies floating around for sale. Otherwise, you could go to SE's website and buy a copy online. There is another alternate method... where you could buy a secondhand Xbox
    360 copy, AND buy a PC copy of the game solely for the registration codes. These codes can be used for PC, Xbox 360 and PS2 copies of this game as it is a multiplatform game... meaning person A can play on the PC, person B on a PS2 and person C on Xbox
    360 and they'd be able to still play the game together.

    Hope Microsoft takes a look at what Sony is dabbling in.

    I thought what most developers did with multiplats was use the Xbox 360 as the default platform for development since it's easier to code on then port the games over to the PS3/PC. And that's why you have certain games like Skyrim for example not run optimally
    on the PS3 like it would on the PC or Xbox 360.

    Actually if they wanted to the publisher/developer could modify the Windows version of their game and bring it to the Xbox One, since the Xbox One and PC are architecturally very similar. No need to re-make a game 100%. There is no need to re-code the
    Xbox 360 version if a version for Windows exists, just port the PC version. Controller support won't be an issue as most of the PC versions of Xbox 360 games have controller support.
